Fee Structure for the Academic year 2023-24

Refund Policy

  1. The Office of Admissions is liable for refund process until the commencement of classes.
  2. The refund is at the sole discretion of the college.
  3. Request for cancellation of admission must be submitted ONLY through E-Mail mode. Request for cancellation through any other medium (including Post) will not accepted.
  4. The date of online cancellation will be considered as the date of formal withdrawal of admission. This date will be considered for determining the eligible percentage of refund (refer table below).
  5. The office documentation(s) for refund will begin only on the date of receipt of the following documents in ORIGINAL by courier or in person, by the Office of Admissions.
    1. All receipts towards the payment of fees
    2. Provisional Admission Letter
    3. Cheque leaf (cancelled) of the bank to which transfer of money is to be done.
  6. NCET will not be responsible for the change/misrepresentation of account information, as received and confirmed by the candidate/parent. If all documents submitted for refund are as per the office requirements, then the time taken to process and effect the transfer of refund will be 30 working days. It’s noteworthy that it is the prime and sole responsibility of the candidate to furnish all relevant documents for timely processing of refund.

Note: For cancellation & refund (if any), Write an email to “refund@ncetmail.com. Refund rules are as per NCET cancellation of admission and refund policy 

The Remaining due/payment for the entire 1st year must be cleared in full (100%) within 30 days from the date of issue of provisional letter, failing which the provisional admission will be cancelled.

 For GM:

A candidate who has Passed in 2nd PUC / 12 Std / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the Language and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue in BE.

FOR SC/ST & OBC (Cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A 3B) CATEGORY CANDIDATES:

A candidate who has Passed in 2nd PUC / 12 Std / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the Language and obtained a Minimum of 40% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue in BE.

The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the pursue of determination of eligibility.

Note:Mandatory Entrance Examination to be taken: K-CET/ COMED-K

Through Lateral Entry Scheme

A candidate who has passed Qualifying Examination i.e. any diploma examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45 % ( for General Merit Candidates) of marks taken together in all the subjects of the final year (i.e.,fifth and six semesters) diploma examination is eligible for admission to B E-Courses and 40% of marks in case of SC, ST and Backward Classes of Karnataka Candidates.

Through Management Quota

Average 50% and above in puc or 12th standard in physics, mathematics, chemistry / computer science / electronics.

Mandatory Entrance Examination to be taken – K-CET/COMED-K/JEE

A candidate with valid GATE score or PGCET of Karnataka

A candidate who has passed qualifying examination (i.e., BE/B. Tech Degree) in the relevant discipline and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% of marks (for General Merit Candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M. Tech programs. ( 45% of marks in qualifying examination in case of SC, ST and Cat-I candidates. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidate)

Mandatory Entrance Examination to be taken – PGCET

A candidate who has passed Qualifying Examination i.e., any Recognised Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50 % of (for General Merit Candidates) marks taken together in all the subjects including language in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to full time MBA course. (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category – I of Karnataka Candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates)

Mandatory Entrance Examination to be taken – KMT / CMAT / MAT / PGCET – Any one is mandatory
