COURSE
The department of Computer Science and Engineering(AIML) of the Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology provides Bachelor’s Degree programs. The department polishes the skills of the students in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning field. NCET provides one of the best faculties for students pursuing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The faculty here focuses on inculcating their students with ethics and qualities like leadership, teamwork, and many more. At Computer Science and Engineering(AIML), the faculty also aims at providing experience and exposure, and research opportunities. This is done through various collaborations of the faculty and the students on different projects. The department of Computer Science and Engineering(AIML) of the NCET College provides placements to the students in leading companies in their respective fields.

HoD’s MESSAGE

Dr. Vijayanand R
I welcome you on the behalf of CSE-Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Department, NCET, Bengaluru. We started as a small family but are growing at a rapid pace. The expertise of faculty in various fields as well as the variety of students from multiple states of India make the department as a place for quality teaching and research. The department provides state of the art lab facilities to the students and faculties. We currently encourage research in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Security, Computer Vision and other Inter-disciplinary fields.
In Computer Science and Engineering (AIML) department, we continuously monitor the students by assigning separate mentors and also motivate them to participate in the national level competitions. We provide support for publishing their papers in reputed conferences and journals. We guid the students with the motto of ‘dream offer’ placements counsel them for their start-up company. As the head of department, I gladly invite students and faculties to look forward and view AIML Department and NCET as a destination for employability skill development, high end research and teaching in India.
FACILITIES
The institution has always kept its target of providing Student-to-computer ratio of 1:1 during their laboratory exercises.
The Department is well equipped with the latest computers with modern multimedia features and Licensed software. Computer Labs have been loaded with Microsoft Windows 10 and Ubuntu Operating System. All the labs are connected with 100MBPS high-speed internet service. The lab is used to train the students to improve their programming knowledge and make experiments to get familiar with the Core Courses. This lab helps placement cell to conduct online test and Placement training for students during placement drive.
