COURSE
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the five departments at Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology. It administers bachelor’s programs in Computer Science and Engineering, as well as master’s and doctoral degree programs in Computer Science and Engineering.
About twenty full-time faculty members provide a comprehensive program that emphasizes problem solving skills in C programming, Web designing aspects, data structure and application level thinking through EBox Portal. Pattern recognition, data mining and machine learning, distributed systems and android application, operating systems and computer networks, computer security, and IOT computing.
The CSE department’s many strengths include its high faculty-to-student ratio, state of the art facilities, renowned faculty, strong focus on undergraduate education balanced with leading-edge research, and emphasis on leadership, service, and ethics.
Faculty and students often collaborate on projects, In addition to the excellent faculty and quality research opportunities available through the department, there is a real sense of community and teamwork here.
The CSE department also offers three optional Concentrations for undergraduate majors: Music, Dance, and Photography. These concentrations provide students interested in those topic areas with a recommended sequence of elective courses. Completion of one of the Concentrations is recorded on the student’s official transcript at graduation.
Graduates from the CSE department are heavily recruited by many top companies. Graduates take up careers in the computing industry, the finance industry, traditional large engineering companies, startup companies, management consulting companies, medical informatics companies, and government. Some of our top undergraduates each year enter the PhD program in Computer Science and Engineering at leading universities around the country.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering department also offers PhD Doctoral Degree with many aspirants reaching heights in field of Research in various fields and also enriching their personal growth by Publishing National and International papers, National and International Journals and Research Patenting due to an excellent support from PhD Doctorate Guides.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has highly qualified and motivated faculties who are in positioned to create the technological leaders of tomorrow. FIVE DAY’S WORKSHOP ON EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES


- Five Day’s Workshop on Emerging Technologies was organized from 28-04-2022 to 01-04-2022 by ISE Department, Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore. Around 244 faculty and student members from various colleges across the country from different institutions have participated in this online workshop.

Five Day’s Workshop on Automation Tools was organized from 19-01-2022 to 23-01-2022 by ISE Department with the guest speaker, Mr. Prabhakar Gudi – CEO, Gowri Software Solutions. He has 12 + years of experience in Manual Testing, Automation and Database.

Industry Expert Talk was organized on 27-11-2021 by ISE Department with the orator Mr. Nilesh Gupta – Project Manager and Scrum Master with experience of successfully coordinating the activities of various departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, and distribution of products & services.
WORKSHOP ON NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY-2020


- Workshop on National Education Policy-2020 was organized by ISE Department on 8-10-2021 for its teaching staff to give an insight into New Education Policy 2020. The aim was to make all the staff members understand the vision and mission of the policy and try to incorporate the same in coming years.

TWO DAY’S WEBINAR ON DEEP LEARNING


- Two day’s webinar on Deep Learning was organized by ISE Department on 25-05-2020 and 26-05-2020 under IEEE SSIT Bangalore Section. The webinar was aimed at improving the skills of faculty and students in Deep Learning. Many concepts related to machine learning and deep learning were explained during the session.
INVITED TALK ON ERGONOMICS


- Invited Talk on ergonomics was organized by ISE Department on 19-02-2019 with guest speaker, Mr. Basavaraj C.H, CEO, BCS Innovations, Bengaluru. The talk covered topics like MEMS technologies, photo monitoring system for optimization of cultivation, Biochip, CAN (Controller Area Network) and Red Tacton and concepts of Machine Learning.
THREE DAY’S WORKSHOP ON ANDROID PROGRAMMING
ECE Department organized Three Day hands on workshop on Robotic application using TI Microcontroller under Robotic club from 16th to 18th September 2019. Dr. S G Gopala Krishna, Director NES, Dr. Srikantamurthy K Principal, NCET, Dr. K N Nagesh HOD ECE and Mr. Gaurav Bisuness Head Edgate Technology (Associate Partners of Texas Instrument University Program) inagurated the workshop on 16/09/2019. More than 50 students Registered and participated the workshop. At the end of the workshop Department received One Robotic Kit (RSLK) worth of Rs10,000 which is helpful to learn, develop and Participate Robotic related activities.
