Mr.MeghaNidhi Dahal ,IAS officer an Alumni of Department of Information Science and Engineering has taken charge as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Hailakandi district of Barak Valley region of Assam.Dahal created a record of sorts by cracking the prestigious Civil Services Examinations securing all India ranking of 63 in the general category in 2015.
In August 2014, Dahal cleared the UPSC preliminary exam, passed the main exam in April and cleared the interview held in May 2015 at an early age of 28 years.
