Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology has conducted Open day and project exhibition competition on 18th and 19th May 2017. Open day gives an opportunity to the general public to get a sense of what College life is like and to pick up a wide range of useful information. They cover all subjects offered by the college unless otherwise indicated. The project exhibition competition was also organised to exhibit the student projects to the general public.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. N H Naganagouda, Director, KPCL, Bengaluru and highlighted the importance of renewable energy related projects. Dr S.G.Gopala Krishna, Principal has advised the students to develop the projects into commercial products. Vice Principals, Deans, Head of various Departments have graced the occasion. The students projects was evaluated by the experts in the respective areas. The best student projects were given the cash prize. This exhibition set a stage for the young upcoming engineers to showcase their talent, technical skills and create healthy competition among them to perform better, which eventually works towards enhancing their technical skills. The exhibition also instilled practical ideas in the students of 1st,2nd and 3rd year who got practical ideas about their respective domain and motivated to deliver their best during the final year studies.
